Kenny Chesney and Tacos

So I went to lunch today with the gals at work, to the Mexican place (that I hate) and I realized that I still hate it, but have announced to the group that next time they go there, I will not be in attendance. That said, I am now back at work, doing a whole lot of nothing, and listening to the Kenny Chesney Live Album (to hear it for free, go to www.kennychesney.com and click on music, it will load right up and play for you!).

Kenny Chesney does a song called "Anything But Mine" which is about Summer love. You know, like when you go on vacation and hook up with someone and then swear that you'll keep in touch, even though you know you won't.

The song doesn't remind me of a summer love so to speak, but of a high-school boyfriend left behind. Long story short, I was young and stupid, and all be said, was really just mean to him. Ashley---If you are out there, I'm sorry and I sucked. I hope your life is roses and candy bars, and if I could change the terrible way I acted towards you and your feelings, I would.

Speaking of Mikes....

I dont' know what blogs people read, but I got hooked on the Glamour Magazine bloggers. There is Christine, a 26 year old single Mom who just had a little boy. Then there is Erin, a 20 something cancer patient that just had a little boy. There is also Mike, a single guy that lives in LA and teaches English.

If you are in a relationship and need to remember why dating sucks, this is the blog to read. Mike makes it fun to remember and his writing is good (I guess it should be for an English teacher huh?) He puts it all out there, and makes some pretty valid points. If you haven't read it, go forth and read!

More about Mike and Mike

So if you don't like sports, this is not the post to read. I listen to Mike and Mike, and my other half thinks I have some type of addiction to them. I don't think its an addiction, maybe a crush of some sort.

The guys are hilarious, and they have a really neat love/hate relationship. I started watching them on ESPN2 when I was on maternity leave with my last child, and now I hardly miss a day. If you don't listen to them but are a sports fan, go to www.espn.com and look under radio for a station near you that carries them.

Is there anything better....

Is there anything better than the start of a new television season?

Welcome to my blog---
I'll be talking about all sorts of things here, including my love of reality television, college football and my love of sports, my 3 daughters, and my crazy neighbors. (not always in that order).

Today I sit anxiously awaiting the premier of Private Practice, the new Grey's Anatomy spin off. I'll post more tomorrow about my thoughts.

Each day I'll post a website of something I enjoy or think is really neat---today I'll link you to one of my favorite TV/Radio personalities, Mike Greenberg.

If you like sports, you probably already know him as a Sportscenter anchor and daily host of "Mike and Mike in the Morning" (my favorite thing to watch at 6:00, yes, even more than JoJo's Circus).
